Belfast Skyline

This is my project, a Lego Skyline, based on the ones which are already available, for my home city of Belfast. Like the official sets it contains four major landmarks found in the city.

1. Belfast City Hall, located in the centre of the city and the seat of its political and economic influence. It has also hosted many prestigious visitors such as Queen Victoria and Bill Clinton.

2. Samson and Goliath, the twin cranes which stand in the Harland and Wolff shipyard and are a reminder of its shipbuilding past

3. Titanic Belfast, a museum dedicated to the RMS Titanic, Belfast's most famous export. Docked outside is the SS Nomadic, a smaller ship from the same era which is now a museum.

4. The Obel Complex, Ireland's tallest building, it represents 21st Century Belfast, outside is the 'Big Fish', a permanent art installation.

I have avoided using stickers in the set, but the real set would require some printed elements, a nameplate like the official sets, H&W printed bricks for the cranes and a Titanic printed sign to go outside Titanic Belfast.
