The Court of Camelot (A Modular LEGO Castle)

Welcome to the Court of Camelot located in the birch woods of Caerleon, South Wales! Here you will find King Arthur's round table, the meeting place for his loyal knights! Merlin sits in his tower, brewing up spells to help Arthur defeat all of his enemies and protect the maidens who reside here! 

The legend of King Arthur originates from Wales, most likely based off of the deeds of a real king. According to legend, King Arthur pulled the legendary sword, Excalibur, from a stone, giving him the right to the throne of Britain. He is said to have defeated the Saxons, gone on a quest for the Holy Grail, and completed many other legendary feats. He formed a band of loyal knights each of which were treated as his equal - symbolically represented by his Round Table, as no one person sat at its head. His legend had been passed down through countless ballads, books, and poems.

The main parts of this build are the great hall with the Round Table and Merlin's tower. Also included are 3 birch trees and two carriages. A more detailed list can be seen below:

We are excited to see the Castle theme return to LEGO and thought that there was no better way to reintroduce it than by creating King Arthur's Court, one of the most well-known medieval legends. We hope that each aspect of this build brings to life the middle ages to all who view it.
