Madame Fortuna's Fortune Machine

Madame Fortuna has reached her first 100 supporters, just as the tarot cards predicted. For the support you've shown thus far, I'd like to show you a little peek inside the machine. You likely intuited the design for the fortune dispensing system based on the included GIF in the submission, but you probably did not know the exact shape of the internals.

Firstly, we have the actual pushing mechanism. You might call this a peg or a lever, but internally in my Studio files, this is the Curse Tool. You push on the Curse Tool to dispense the fortune, and pull on it to make room for a new one. Note that the Curse Tool is a jagged shape, and not just a straight peg. I did this to eliminate the possibility of pulling out and losing the Curse Tool.

You can see that the Curse Tool works in combination with the shape of the bottom of the machine. Once the Curse Tool is placed in the machine and sealed in with the top half, it fits snugly in place and cannot be removed. You can also see that the chamber for the Curse Tool is designed to prevent the fortune tile, or any other tile a builder might insert, from getting wedged in an odd spot and locking the mechanism. Right next to the chamber you can see the hole for the coin slot, which just drops the coin tile underneath the machine.

Put the Curse Tool and fortune inside the chamber, and voila, you can see the mechanism in action!
