One of the most beautiful castles in the world: Chambord. Designed by Leonardo da Vinci, built under Francis of France, it is the most magnificent of all the castles in the Loire Valley.
I am fascinated by the remarkable construction, which is uniform on the one hand, but at the same time seems playful and sometimes almost chaotic. Rebuilding this castle with LEGO was a great pleasure.
In particular, I tried to give expression to the extraordinary roof, which is more like a "roof-landscape" :-).
I deliberately held back on the colours. As in the original, there are basically only two colours: the light colour of the sandstone and the black of the slate on the roof.
At the moment, my model has no interior. But maybe that will come in later versions.
