This model is a smaller-scale representation of the Z-95 Headhunter star fighter from Star Wars. After observing the ship's design and features, I decided to attempt the creation of a micro-scale model. The model that I created is similar to those ships in the Lego Star Wars planet sets in the way of size and detail. The Z-95 Headhunter is described on an ancestor to the X-wing, the main differences being the longer nose, non-transforming wings, and fewer engines.
I incorporated all of these changes into my micro model. The nose is a few studs longer than the X-wing mini model, the wings are fixed and do not split, and the engines (2) are housed on the inside of the wings, near the fuselage.
I had imagined that this set would go well with the prior sets of the Star Wars micro-planets. Many Star Wars characters have been chronicled to have flown this star fighter, Tycho Celchu being one of the most notable.
