...3 - 2 - 1 - liftoff
This is a mini-model of the mighty Saturn V rocket, together with the crawler and the gantry.
The Saturn V was the rocket that brought astronauts to the moon, back in the late 1960's and early 1970's and it remains the most powerful machine ever built. This LEGO model comprises 135 pieces and the rocket is about 11cm tall. One has to stack 1000 of these LEGO Saturn V's on top of each other to reach the top of a real Saturn V, which stood an incredible 110m tall. The crane on top of the gantry can be turned sideways to clear the path for liftoff. The rocket can be easily detached from its launchpad.
