This project is an educational product for use as science lesson classroom manipulatives. It offers an interactive experience for kids between grades 2 and 8. The models have 2 positive demonstrations of work being done (Pulley and Inclined Plane) and 1 negative example of a force being applied but no work being completed (Cart, Weight and Wall). The kids build the models and then use them to demonstrate the difference in required force for each of the configurations. In Ontario, Canada the curriculum covers simple machines, force and/or work every grade year from 2 through to 8.
