Spaceship (Original, Retro): Winston E-5 Spacehawk.
This is Product Idea is of a Winston E-5 Spacehawk, an original creation. When I was making it, I made sure to have in mind to make it both a fun build and a fun time to play with. And I think that I have done just that.
The body of the E-5 is a dark blue with a build reminiscent of past spaceships drawings of the 1950’s. Inside the spaceship, there is a control panel and a center stick. There are three wheels under the spacecraft to both be able to simulate take-off and landing and keeping the dated feel to make it feel retro. The E-5 Spacehawk, when built, is compact yet robust.
In a future and retro-styled world, people use spacecrafts like this to move around the galaxy. This particular vehicle, the E-5, is a personal spaceship, and fits one person inside. The Winston E-5 Spacehawk exists in a world where the galaxy has been made an infrastructure and you can get from one planet to another by getting fuel at a fuel station found in between point A and point B.
This Product Idea comes with a retro space pilot going out for a flight. The pilot is retro-styled with a metallic gray astronaut suit and helmet. He also comes with a jet pack, just like it is depicted in pictures of the past, before space flight was achieved. The Winston E-5 Spacehawk also has a place behind the cockpit seat for the space pilot to set down his jet pack when he is not using it.
This Product Idea is meant to be a love letter to both space flight and past times as well as a fun build.
If this project gets to the 10,000 supporters threshold and if LEGO gives it the greenlight, they will, without a doubt, make the design and details better. So please support this project.
