The Ferris Wheel Motorized - La Grande Roue Motorisée

24 comments
Hello brick community;

This is my first project: The motorized Ferris wheel. I wanted to publish this creation because in my LEGO town I have a park. However, the latter lacked a bit of animation, so I decided to make a Ferris Wheel. This was already a big project in itself, however I had an even stronger ambition: to motorize it. The Ferris Wheel fits very well into my park and in my city, and the engine works perfectly. Here is a detailed description of the model. We have a hot dog stand; the vegetation helps to reinforce the attractiveness and beauty of this place; fluorescent lamps in the dark make it possible to go to this place day and night, allowing residents to take a tour whenever they want. Also, we have sand to represent a park. The Ferris wheel can be motorized using the Powered Up application from the LEGO Group. You can also add your name or a message on the Ferris wheel with the parts including in the set 21327.

Characters : We have a man who give hot dogs; an agent who take tickets of people which want to make a tour in the Ferris wheel; two adults and two children. It just an image to imagine; it is not the real finished minifigures.

Parts : The project has a total of 946 parts, including the Hub 88009 and the medium motor 88008. Also, you can add lights, 88005 to make it glow in the dark. We also have 4 nacelles hanging on a structure entirely composed of technical parts for better solidity.

Why this idea should become an official LEGO set:
  • It fits perfectly on a shelf or in a green corner of your LEGO City
  • He has some interesting building techniques and would be fun to build
  • It can bring beauty into any room, being a monument in its own right
  • The motorization does the job and makes this construction even more lively

So don't wait and embark on an exceptional adventure!

I hope this project will convince you to vote!
