This set captures that cliched image we tend to picture when we think of an airplane. It is a cross between an old fashioned biplane and a modern day commercial airliner.
The pieces at the end of the wings, which blend into the wings' shape, can be turned downwards as air resistance flaps when the plane is landing. Along with the propeller, these flaps also help give the plane more of that old fashioned biplane look. The more modern parts include an engine on each wing, another engine in the back, and then some controls, steering wheel, and computer in the cockpit.
Also, the top can be easily lifted to reveal the seating, which allows this set to be quite interactive.
