Asterix and Obelix need no introduction as one of the most iconic comic book and animated series heroic duo!
Their brave and funny adventures were written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo since 1959!
I was always a big fan of the animated movies as a young child and an avid collector of the comic books as a teenager!
Ever since Lego released the quarter dome parts (88293), we were given the opportunity to capture a whole new field of curved surfaces! One of the first ideas I had was to try to create the very distinctive and funny nose of Obelix! The rest is history! I managed to create a whole bust of Obelix couple of years ago and now a whole bust of Asterix too!
If you would enjoy a pair of busts of the legendary Asterix and Obelix, support and they may be an official lego set!
