The Moth Class is the name for a small development class of sailing dinghy. Originally a cheap home built sailing boat, nowadays it is an expensive largely commercially produced boat designed to hydroplane on foils.
With a total weight of 30 Kg, a sail area of 8 square meters and advanced construction techniques and materials such as composites and carbon fiber, it can be considered a real formula 1 of the singlehanded dinghies.
The strongest sailors in the world sails or sailed in Moth. Olympic champions, One Design classes sailors, America's Cup as Ocean Racing ones have completed their training on these incredible boats.
This model is simply, no more nor less, an International Moth dinghy.
