This Lego design was inspired by the Disney Boardwalk Inn/ hotel. This six floor structure uses 2906 bricks to deliver a distinct look to any Lego collection. Sitting on the edge of the water, the boardwalk allows guests the opportunity to enjoy a stroll during a relaxing vacation.
The edge of the set does allow for expansion, using technic bricks and connectors. this allows the creative individuals to expand the boardwalk for a larger playset.

The majority of the set uses the darker red bricks to contrast against the yellow section. White highlight bricks are used for the edgings to draw attention to the detailed design.

What is Cuusoo?
In case you have accessed this page without knowing anything about Cuusoo; Cuusoo is a site where people submit ideas for new Lego sets. If the project can get 10,000 Supporters then Lego will review the project. If Lego likes the idea then they will create their own version of the project to be released to the fans.

If you already have a facebook or twitter account you can create an account by using that login. If not, it only takes about a minute to make a Cuusoo account to support a project.

If you support this project and would really like to see it released, please post this in your Facebook/Twitter or tell friends. The best chance for a set is for supporters, and getting 10,000 people is a difficult task. Thank you for the help and support.

If you choose not to support the project due to a design choice, I welcome the feedback. I listed out some questions around the design that I would like to have feedback about at the bottom of the post.

Within the hotel are 7 rooms for guests, each with amenities to enjoy. At the top of the hotel is a hotel suite for the VIP guests to enjoy. Rooms can include desks, stand lamps, twin and full beds, bureaus, chairs/sofas, and televisions.
In the picture above a souvenir shop with a selection of hats is available for the vacationing Minifigure can be seen in the bottom right (detailed picture in section 3).
At the bottom left, a ice cream store allows refreshments from the heat. A glass faced refrigerator keeps the ice cream cold and on display.
Guests can check in at the front desk in the lobby space, where a circular seat allows them to wait if needed. Arches and support beams add detail and ensure the stability for the set.

Boardwalk boasts a herringbone pattern to add a distinctive look that is not often seen in Lego sets. The entire set is supported above the water platforms.

Here is a detailed look at the souvenir shop when guests can purchase special hats, mugs and other items. Both stores include registers and a staff member to help the struggling guests find their perfect gift.

Here is a detailed look at the larger deck. While a few rooms have larger areas to enjoy, others only have a smaller balconies. Detailed railings protect the guests as they view the waterline.
Above the lobby entrance, green flags can blow in the wind just above the canopies.

Feedback Needs:
Do you feel that this is too large? I can likely drop a floor if people feel it is too big.

Do you like the green carpet in front of the check-in desk? I am not sold on that...

Would you like to see a cart on the boardwalk? In trying to keep the piece count low, I chose to exclude this, however it leaves the boardwalk empty.
