This is a Caterpillar Tractor. This style of tractor was first invented in 1921 by Caterpillar inc, also known as Cat.
This first prototype was invented in 1921 by C.L. Best was called the " Best 30 Track-Type Tractor". Later in 1925 The Holt Manufacturing Company and C. L. Best Tractor Co. merged and begun the Caterpillar Tractor Co. That year their first product line consisted of 5 different tractors. They continued developing tractors and other machinery and are still doing so today.
