Welcome abroad the A4 4468 Mallard, the world speed record holder for steam trains - clocked at 126mph. Designed by Nigel Gresley in 1938 this train covered one and a half million miles before being retired in 1963.
I built this as not only is a marvel of “Victorian” British engineering but an aerodynamic wonder of its age, fully tested in a wind tunnel.
Not only is this a stunning display piece but can be fully “powered up” and run on every Lego train fans rails, make that Lego city have some classic steam train set and click support!
The set comes with the train, coal cart, display stand with water tank and the driver and mate mini figures, the set uses 742 parts.
