Goldrush, Sluicifer (She Really Catches the Gold!)

Goldrush is, with 12 seasons, the longest and most popular running series on Discovery Channel.

It is about the people’s daily life in 3 goldmining companies in the Yukon.

I like the unique combination of heavy machinery, repairs, emotion, figures, animation and info.

So I decided to make a LEGO version of Parker Schnabel’s plant: ‘Sluicifer’.

The SD-600m (Sluicifer) can’t run on his own, so there is also a stacker, aggregate, water pump and a loader.

 

Like a real gold wash plant, this LEGO version separates the gold from the dirt. With the same techniques: screens, shaking, gravity and even ‘water’. It is powered by 2 engines: #1 drives the hopper and stacker, #2 drives Sluicifer's shaker deck and tailings conveyor.

 

Of course there is Parker, Rick, Chris, Mitch, Brennan, Dozer and a camera crew. Even Tony arrived to cash his 15%. So you can play your favorite scenes. This set is also fun to build, learn and display
