For this project, I propose that a set be made based on Castle Grayskull from the TV series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Taking inspiration from both the 1980's cartoon, and the 2002 remake, this set re-imagines Castle Grayskull as a stone, visibly aged castle composed of light and dark gray, and sand green-colored bricks. The design for the castle itself was based on what was seen of it in the cartoons, as well as what has featured in previous toy depictions of the castle. With three outpost stations, a throne room, a weapons rack and treasure accessories, this project could be used as an intricate display piece, or a set with unlimited play potential.

This set would also feature a wide array of fan-favorite characters from the show, including a brick-built Battle Cat and minifigures of He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, Stratos, and Orko.

Some main attractions to this project would be the outer walls, with their stone-brick look and sand green pieces (which everyone wants to see more of), the unique cast of minifigures and weapons, and the detail put into the interior of the castle, such as the spiral staircase and throne room.

He-Man is a timeless character with a strong set of morals and values that have taught and influenced children for generations. A set featuring He-Man could not only provide nostalgia for older fans of LEGO, but also introduce this character to younger LEGO users. In a world of Ghostbusters, Disney Princesses, The Simpsons, and Scooby-Doo, I think it's about time we were able to build the Masters of the Universe.
