The Angel of the North is one of Britain's newest and most iconic landmarks, created by renowned sculptor Antony Gormley OBE. Standing 20 metres (65 feet) high, the angel welcomes all heading into Newcastle on the A1 and A16. It is one of the most viewed pieces of art in the world - seen by more than one person every second, 90,000 every day or 33 million every year.

Made of weather resistant Cor-ten steel, containing a small amount of copper, its this that gives it's distinctive patina that mellows with age. This rather unique material is replicated in LEGO using highly sort after Dark Orange pieces, as well as a mixture of Green, Bright Green and Dark Green foliage.
