This Lego set is based on the TV series Quantum Leap. The show ran 5 seasons with 97 episodes from 1989-1993 on NBC, starring Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Admiral Al Calavicci. This set is based on the acceleration chamber as used in the pilot episode, Genesis. The plot of the show is that Sam Beckett travels through time leaping into different people from the past. Sam’s friend, Al Calavicci appears as a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. Al tries numerous times to retrieve Sam from the past. This set was built from the blueprints from the original series set.

- One acceleration chamber
