The armour of Japanese knights has an important role in Japanese culture (and pop culture). They are remnants of a glorious past, symbols of honour but also of wealth.
This brick armour is representative of the samurai armour of the Sengoku Jidai period (16th century), an Age of Civil War where armour not only provided protection but also symbolised the rank of the warrior. The originality and the gilding made it possible to distinguish powerful lords from simple soldiers.
This brick armour is integral, all parts of the armour are represented, and is richly detailed.
Perfect for an office decor.
