Here is the perfect LEGO Car for accessorizing your LEGO City or to simply play with for those LEGO Car fans out there.
This LEGO Sports car is White with Black accents, New Dark Red Interior and Black convertible roof. It can be built as a Spyder (convertible) with the top up or down, Coupe (hardtop) or Targa (hardtop with the roof removed leaving the roof posts entact). It can also be build in one of two model designs, the GT (Grand Touring) or CS (Califormia Special). That makes 8 different ways to building this LEGO Sports Car.

I had included a picture of this car in a LEGO City for your reference, but had to remove that picture too.
This is a re-envison of my LEGO Sport Car concept, the Sparrow GT, my fictional car company. This car is of my own design and therefore is not subject to any special licensing. You could consider it to be a cross between a Camaro and a Mustang and maybe even a Corvette, but it does not resemble any of these, it is what I call the Sparrow.
Also, I'm including my hoist, which the car can be positioned on. Most other 6-wide LEGO cars can fit on this hoist as well. I intend to have a Mechanic included in the build however, I was not allowed to include my Mechanic in the photos so I had to remove it. The Mechanic, holding a wrench, is positioned on the stud shown in the picture so that it looks like the Mechanic is working on the front brakes. I also have an alternate build of the car that shows it with the hood off and engine exposed for purposes of having it on the hoist (as shown here).
The car itself is a ridged design that holds together very well. I have left this car out on a "Test Drive" track at LEGO Events for children to play with and packed it in bins for traveling without any serious damage to the car. I have been perfecting this design since 2014 and I really think that the design flows well. This is one of my Minifigs ultimate rides. And, yes, top up or down it fits a Minifig. I have converted this car into a LEGO Speed Champions style as well but I like this LEGO City version too which fits in much better with LEGO Cities and rolls really well if you are looking for a car with speed. I have also made this car as a 4-wide, but have decided to go with the 6-wide. This car fits in very well with the other LEGO City 6-wide cars like the Police cars ... "I'm sorry Officer, I didn't see that speed limit sign". With its imagined 480HP 5.0L V8 GT engine, you not only get speeding tickets but you get zero emissions too. That means that, even with its dual exhaust tailpipes, this vehicle will not pollute your LEGO City. This is especially important with the imagined 464HP 5.0L V8 CS engine.
Sparrow GT design features include: Single seater with detailed interior including dashboard, stearing wheel and head rest, headligths, taillights, GT front grill with dual fog lamps, GT hood with dual vents, GT dual split exhaust tailpipes, behind the front wheels rocker panel air vent, dual side mirrors, and fixed GT rear spoiler with optional convertible top up or down, Coupe or Targa.
Sparrow CS design features include: Same premium GT detailed interior, headligths, dual CS taillights, CS front grill, hood vents, flat CS trunk line, CS dual center exhaust tailpipes, behind the front wheels rocker panel air vent, dual side mirrors with optional convertible top up or down, Coupe or Targa.
How many Speed Champions, like the McLaren Senna, and LEGO City Police Cars can you put in your LEGO City ... Why not add the Sparrow GT/CS Spyder to your collection!!!
Whether you need to pop by the Downtown Diner, fill up at the Corner Garage, or simply out run the apocolypse, consider the Sparrow GT/CS and ride in style with the top up or down.
