Assembly Aircraft Company XP-713 Banshee

Well LEGO fans, here it is. My first Ideas project cast in real bricks. This actually predates the concept for the Silence, my previous project, and inspired many of it's features. I also have a slightly larger, heavy-hitter version of this design in early development that I'm thinking of calling the Orc. That, however, will likely have to be an LDD project as I do not have many of the parts I intend to use.

Now, to the craft. Designed as a single-seat Escort/Interceptor, the Banshee is fast and agile enough that 2 plasma cannon and 4 mini-turrets are sufficient armament for it's role; any more would have been superfluous. With its trans-orbital capabilities you can rest assured that your solar system will be a little safer. I mean, let's be honest here, space is not safe. But that's a story for another day.
