Tiffany Aching with Tiny Great A'Tuin

Tiffany Aching needs 1000 votes in 7 days or this project will be archived.  It needs 10,000 votes in 7 days to reach the next review.

Tiffany Aching is a character from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

She is currently in four books: The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith, and I Shall Wear Midnight.

There is a fifth book: The Shepard's Crown, and the final Discworld novel, is due out in September of 2015.

The published novels follow Tiffany from age 9 to 16 as she serves as the Witch of the Chalk

Although Tiffany is always the driving force of her novels, she is "aided" in her endeavors by a clan of Nac Mac Feegles, tiny blue rowdy 'pictsies.'

Pictured above is Tiffany from her first book "The Wee Free Men" in which she must rescue both her brother and the Baron's son from the Queen of the Elves armed only with her wits, a trusty frying pan, a talking frog, and a tiny clan of Feegles.

Additionally this set will include a traditional LEGO Witch's hat for those who would rather see Tiffany in one.

Finally, the proposed set would include a microbuild of Great A'Tuin, the four elephants, and the Discworld, the setting where the story takes place.

Any proceeds I may received from the sale of this set will go to the charity The Research Institute for the Care of Older People (Rice).

Rice is the charity chosen by Pratchett’s family and by his long-term assistant, Rob Wilkins. The Bath-based organization, which supports those with Alzheimer’s disease and carries out research into the aging process.

A Tribute...

Yesterday was a sad day for many FOLs with the passing of the literary great Sir Terry Pratchett

Pratchett's Discworld series and other works bought pleasure to millions of readers and those works have inspired numerous MOCs from our community.

I am proud that I was able to get the LEGO Discworld Campaign to 10,000 supporters while he was still with us and eagerly await the results of the review.  The fact that the project reached that level is a great demonstration of love his readers have for his creations.

This article is a brief tribute to his works in LEGO form. Each image is a link to the builder.
