I am fascinated by the Lego Architecture sets, especially the Landmark Series. I love the sculptural quality of sets like the Empire State Building or Rockefeller Center and decided to work on my own additions to this series.
When thinking of other iconic buildings I came across the Lincoln Building (also "One Grand Central Place") in New York City. This Building was completed in 1930 and is immediately recognisable. Its design can easily be broken down into basic geometric forms and thus can be perfectly translated into a set for the Landmark Series.
With a height of 14 cm the model fits perfectly in the Landmark Series and shows the same sculptural quality as the other high-rise buildings. This model of the Lincoln Building is a great set for fans of New York City as well as for people interested in skyscrapers.
