I built this tank some time ago. It's based on the siege tank from Starcraft 2. It is made with 4 motors and 2 linear actuators (power functions). The tank can drive forwards and backwards, turn and best of all, it sieges and un-sieges at the touch of a button on the remote. Check it out in action on youtube here:
