Skyline of Saint-Ouen-Sur-Seine

This is the Skyline of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France. It's a representation of the town where I've lived since I was born. It contains around 200 pieces and comprises seven buildings: the Bauer stadium, Planet'Z, the Communale, the castle of Saint-Ouen, the incineration centre, a metro pole and the Seine.

Located in Saint-Ouen, the Stade Bauer was inaugurated in 1909 for a friendly match against Old Westmisters. Red Star Football Club, abbreviated to Red Star FC and commonly known as le Red Star, is a French football club founded in 1897 in Paris, making it the oldest football club in the capital. It then moved to Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, in the northern suburbs, when the stadium was inaugurated. In recent years, the stadium has been undergoing renovation work to extend and modernise the stands, which is all the more necessary as Red Star returned to Ligue 2 this year.

Planet'Z is a low-cost housing complex built in the 1970s by architect Jacques Starkier, right in the heart of Saint-Ouen. The building is something of an architectural UFO, overlooking the Stade Bauer, home of Red Star FC. The terraces and windows in the northern part of the building, also known as ‘the fourth stand’, offer an uninterrupted view of the stadium.

La Communale is a huge food hall dedicated to gastronomy and culture, the largest of its kind in the Ile-de-France region. It was inaugurated on 18 January 2024 and was built on the site of a former Alstom industrial structure.

Le Château de Saint-Ouen is a residence located in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Île-de-France. The current château, built in the 19th century by Jean-Jacques-Marie Huvé, is listed in its entirety as a historic monument. It is a particularly fine example of Restoration architecture.

Saint-Ouen already had its Red Star football club. Now the town also has its Etoile verte. This is the name that has been chosen for the incineration centre of Syctom, the metropolitan agency for household waste treatment, which has been undergoing a complete transformation of its Docks plant over the last few months.

Line 14 and line 13 of the metro pass through Saint-Ouen.

To the west, the town borders the Seine, opposite L'Île-Saint-Denis and Asnières-sur-Seine.

I really like Lego architecture sets. I've got lots of Lego at home, it's my passion. I love it!!!
I hope you enjoy it.
