After seeing Lego set 40450 in tribute to Amelia Earhart, I thought there should be a tribute to the first African-American female pilot. Elizabeth "Bessie" Coleman.
The first design I submitted with the original logos of the plane, apparently they were not appropriate,
so I've designed some logos of my own creation in order to avoid being confused with military logos.
I'm trying to capture the original airplane design but adding my own touch.
The set consist of 360 parts.
-Minifigure (Bessie)
-Helmet and goggles
-Parachute
-Helmet and parachute holder
-Map
-Compass
-commemorative plaque
As always I try to make a clean and beautiful design.
