Creekside Cottage

This is Creekside Cottage.

Creekside Cottage is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and represents an idyllic scene full of beauty, nature, and relaxation. The build is not very large, but packs in many colors, dynamic plants, and interesting architectural elements. It depicts a small cottage in a rarely-travelled-through forest, and a quiet creek trickles right beside the home.

I built Creekside Cottage to relax and simply enjoy the calm feeling of building. I wanted to share the beauty of nature with others, and I think that this creation is a wonderful way for people to bring the lush essence of nature into their homes without the need to garden or tend to any plants.

I think that Creekside Cottage will be a perfect LEGO set because it is a quick, relaxing build that has long term payoff after it is made. After spending only a few hours, builders now have created a piece that is simply relaxing to spend time around or show to friends and family. Further, the build fills in a fairly empty area in LEGO: the gap between fantasy and reality. While the build is not fully resembling of a fantastical world, it does stray away from what a normal forest would hold, and I think this deviance from typical nature is what makes Creekside Cottage so serene and unique.
