Christmas Train

This set is a Lego Christmas train, the idea of this set is to have it go around the Christmas tree.

Since this is a Lego set I decided to make it Christmas colored with a red and gold color scheme. The train runs on standard Lego train tracks and would have to be motorized for the idea to work. THE TRAIN HAS TO BE MOTORIZED IN SOME WAY THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE. This train has to be motorized for this whole concept to work.

The train would be an 18+ set solely because it would have to be a steam train that would be motorized. This would not be an easy set to build solely based on it being a motorized steam train. My current design has 1914 pieces in the set, however it could be made more economically.

I built this Lego set because it is a family tradition of mine to have a Lego train go around the tree. The train that I normally use is set 60197. The tradition is to put a bunch of minifigures and small builds from Lego advent calendars.

I think this would make a great Lego set because it would be a great addition to the Lego Christmas lineup. It would be something fun to go around the Christmas tree that is from Lego. Many Christmas trains are very cheap and make noise, if they were from Lego that would not be a problem. This set would also be a perfect addition to any Christmas village right out of the box. It would be the best Christmas decoration that one could make out of Lego.

(One thing that I have also noticed is that Lego trains are very good at withstanding the pine needles that fall on top of the train tracks. With other trains they get stuck on a single pine needle.)
