A Video, and more Pictures

While the 'Big Steam Tractor' has picked up more speed than I ever imagined, I finally finished my video of the models. It is intended to show just how playable, functional, and versatile the model is in reality. Good computer renderings are nice, but this will give you a much more realistic impression. The video can be found on my flickr page at https://www.flickr.com/photos/mr_kleinstein/

The video has 2 parts with 3 min each, because I found that flickr only supports 3min videos, and I am new to flickr just for this!

Further on, I have created another version of the Steam Tractor - in green - that represents a basic traction engine. It is well suited to show what can be done with Power functions.

I have also adressed the comment regarding the size ofthe wheels, and modified the Showman's Engine accordingly. I feel it was suffering from the enormous width of the caterpillar tracks that make up the rear tires. While that is okay with heavy-duty vehicles like the steam crane, the Showman's Engine was designed to travel on the road. It has now a sleeker appearance, and the proportions - especially when seen from the front or rear - are much closer to the real thing.

To check out a different colour scheme, I have made a rendering of the Steam Tractor in dark red, with bright yellow wheels. I welcome your comments! Keep it coming, so I can make the best possible model!

Yours, Mr_Kleinstein
