The introduction of Bionic Creatures in the Technic line may be the start of a whole new branch of very different Technic based products imitating real life.
These creature do not have wheels or tracks but can propel themselves in more natural ways.
This Bionic Caterpillar is completely autonomous. When switched on it will start contracting the same way as only real-life caterpillar can do and by doing so moves forward.
The motion is created by means of an XL motor that both operates a winch as well as a switch that will turn the motor in the other direction.
