The Colosseum of Rome. Definitively one of the most iconic buildings in the world. Dozens of models have been made with LEGO, but they all share one thing in common, they are huge. Ranging from 50.000 to as much as 250.000 parts, this building has been made in its full splendor and exhibited in every single AFOL showroom and LEGO convention for the past 20 years.

The real challenge of making this set for CUUSOO, is to make it as small as and affordable as any LEGO set can be, and still as accurate in its depiction of the building and recognizable at first glance as possible.

This model is made with no more than 3685 (as per LDD's part count) over a 48 x 48 base plate. If you would like to see high resolution pictures of this set, please CLICK HERE to visit My MOCPages account or CLICK HERE to visit my Flickr account.

I hope you all like it and support. Please feel free to ask any questions or post any suggestions, and if you don't feel this project is worth of your support, take a few seconds to let me know why. Your comments and critiques are always most welcome as they are my best source for improvement.
