Introducing the Steampunk Adventurers: Dr. Anna Dote, Kura the Kitty, Professor Amilio Rate, Android H3-4L, and Dr. Remy Dee!
Set in a postapocalyptic world, these Steampunk Adventurers are on a quest to find sustainable renewable energy. After having survived an experiment gone wrong in a desperate attempt to discover a new energy source, Dr. Remy Dee and Android H3-4L operated on and saved their two friends, Dr. Anna Dote and Professor Amilio Rate, by recreating them into cyborgs. Today, they travel in the Speedy Steampunk Hot-Air Balloon, which is able to maneuver through, evade, and flee almost all types of storm patterns and natural disasters. Even when times seem uneventful, Kura the Kitty keeps the crew on their toes! The Steampunk Adventurers remain hopeful to find what they need in order to save all of the remaining life on Earth.
This set includes the Steampunk Stand for the Steampunk Adventurers and Speedy Steampunk Hot-Air Balloon and accessories.
I built this set because I wanted to create a Lego set that I wish I could buy, build, and display--and would have wanted to play with as a kid! I am a life-long fan of Lego, and I think Steampunk fits perfectly with their brand that consistently strives for sustainability. I'd like to create a world in which everyone strives for better and Lego enables me to do that. Buying and building with used Lego bricks is one of the few hobbies that remains accessible to me as I've dealt with health issues over this past year. It brought me great joy to create this set, and I hope it creates joy in old and new Lego fans alike.
