2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Rapa Nui (Easter Island) becoming a UNESCO World Heritage site. Commemorate this event with your very own moai, one of the iconic stone statues which dot the island.  Built between 1250 and 1500 AD by the Rapa Nui people, the real moai are human statues up to 33 feet tall and 86 tons in weight. Many moai are buried up to their necks with their bodies hidden, so they are commonly referred to simply as ‘heads’.

This moai head is about 1 foot tall and would make a great ornament on the desk or bookshelf of any Polynesian enthusiast's home or office.
