Scolia Wasp

This model is my interpretation of the female of Megascolia maculata which is one of the largest insects in Europe. It is parasitic of the European Rhinoceros beetle larva.

I've met this beautiful Scolia in south of France. I've taken a photo of this wasp feeding on Scabiosa flower that's why I want to recreate this picture.

I've always wanted to build an insect because I love entomology and I even have the opportunity to work on pollinating insects. I hope this project will make people and especially children discover and love the fascinating world of insects.

Features: moveable head, thorax and abdomen. moveable wings and legs.

Thank you for your attention. I hope you like it.
