What else would I chose as a favorite castle theme than something involving ninjas...
The ancestors of the Lego Ninjago theme were this beautiful castle/ninja themed sets which run from 1998 to 2000.
In their simplicity they were awsome as they allowed endless hours of playability and let the imagination run wild.
