Let’s talk about children playing with LEGO, but who is just learning to talk.

Many of us would like to chat with our super constructions made of LEGO, many even do so, but what about those who are already playing with LEGO and still are only learning to talk? Why not to combine learning of different words with the game?

Here are some games I want to offer:

1. Say the color!

The bright LEGO DUPLO cubes are perfectly colored, say “Red!” and all the red cubes will begin to glow. Can you imagine how cool it will be in the dark?

2. Say the shape!

Circles, squares, rectangles - just name it, and they will glow, and maybe even vibrate. Has everyone imagined a huge house glowing in different colors, and even vibrating?

3. Say the figure!

And if we go even further? We make a cat out of cubes and the child only needs to say “Cat!”, so that the cat says “Meow” in response.

Perhaps the engineers will rack their brains, but what an effect!

Summary

Technical: all electronic parts can be placed inside the DUPLO cube, without access to them. The microphone can be integrated into a separate control cube.

Problem-solving: the game promotes the linguistic and emotional development of the child, forms communicative qualities and abilities.
