The Princess Bride - From Book to Blockbuster to Brick
The Princess Bride is a 1987 movie based on a book, with that same book at the heart of the film. This set encapsulates that idea: there are a variety of ways to display and play with this build, with the brick-built book standing as the central pillar. Open the book and the landscape moves with it; remove the book and you'll discover the story's narrator and his increasingly immersed grandson.
The book's front and back covers blend into two iconic scenes from the movie, where classic moments can be recreated with the accompanying mini-figures. Inside, the memorable words As you wish are "inked" on the page, mirrored by an illustration depicting the timeless romance between Buttercup and Wesley. The illustration, complete with mini-figures, allows the book to be closed fully!
The book itself can be easily removed, and in its place all of the set's mini-figures can be simultaneously displayed on the stands.
