The Smurfs Mushroom House
The Smurfs have become an enduring icon of popular culture since 1981. Created by Belgian cartoonist Peyo, the Smurfs quickly ingrained themselves into the minds of viewers of all ages. Nearly everyone, whether young or old, is familiar with these endearing characters. Personally, I have been a fan of them since I was young, and when I saw the 80s challenge I knew I wanted to make the Smurfs. Although I have never designed a set before, I found it very interesting and educational. And I hope you can recognize the magic of the Smurfs a little. Some of the details are: The Smurfs' accessories, for example Vanity Smurf's mirror and Jokey Smurf's present. The set consists of Papa Smurf's house, a well and the mushroom from the intro. The set has 8 figures and three animals, Vanity Smurf's hat has a flower printed on the side, but I couldn't do that, so I have now shown it this way. For Gargamel I have his net and the tree trunk he runs into in the intro. Overall, I really enjoyed doing it.
